Top Competition: Teammates Brieasha Hunter and Megan Linder proved to be the fastest girls in the state and they went 1-2 in the 100, 200 and 400 to rack up all of the team's 66 points. In the 100 meters it was Hunter over Linder 12.28 to 12.43. In the 200, the order was reversed, with Linder going 24.78 to Hunter's 24.82. And in the 400 it was Hunter over Linder 55.12 to 55.17. Record-breaker: Mia Barron's sweep in the jumps was at the heart of Minnetonka's run to the team title and her triple jump mark broke the state meet record. Barron had mark of 19-10 at her section meet in the long jump but there was no wind gauge. The longest triple jump in state history belongs to Jordan Helgren of Wayzata (41-1.75 in 2008).
